Optimal Game Settings

Depending on how much video memory you have, texture quality should be set to High or lower. Having textures on Very High will can cause issues on lower end systems. If you are experiencing texture loss in populated areas of the map, try turning your Extended Texture Budget one or two notches to the right. This slider should generally be kept as low as possible, raising your extended budget too high may cause frame drops and/or game hanging issues.

Refer to the above statements regarding 'Extended Texture Budget', as players laptop/desktops are not similar and could require different tweaks in settings to fix issues.

Fix for 'stuck in the sky when loading into the server' issue

Players wanting to change their GTA V settings manually/out of game. When clicking on Settings open it in Notepad and then lower the values of the settings that are underlined in red. (ShadowQuality_Value="1" | MSAA_Value="2" | TextureQaulity_Value="1" | ShaderQaulity_Value="1") are going to be the main ones to switch values of due to them taking up more VRAM than other settings underlined.

After having change your values, now go to the top left of the notepad and left-click (File) and then left-click (Save). After this you're able to close out of your notepad and file explorer and reload Five_M and attempt to join the server again.
